"Shikhar Sohe Paavan Dhwaja, Fahrae Gagan Ke Paar. Darshan Karat Hi Mitat Hain, Janam-Janam Ke Paap."
(The sacred flag graces the grand spire, fluttering high across the sky; a single glimpse of this divine banner washes away the accumulated sins of lifetimes.)
The holy "Dhwaja" (Sacred Flag) fluttering atop the sky-touching spire (Shikhar) of the Shri Madan Mohan Ji Temple serves as the supreme symbol of the Lord’s victory, the glory of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, and His divine sovereignty.
Driven by deep devotion, devotees can attain the immense privilege of offering a pristine new flag to the temple spire.
The sacred flag of the Madan Mohan Ji Temple uniquely features the divine emblem of Lord Garuda, the celestial vehicle and foremost devotee of the Supreme Lord.
The presence of Lord Garuda on the banner symbolizes the protection of devotees and the eternal triumph of righteousness (Dharma) over unrighteousness.
According to the sacred scriptures, a devotee who beholds the Garuda Dhwaja fluttering atop the spire or sponsors its offering is liberated from life s distresses and fears.
It ensures that the divine blessings of Thakur Ji reside with their entire family forever.
To preserve the absolute scriptural purity of the fabric, the specific color schemes tailored to seasonal changes, and the traditional sanctity required for depicting Lord Garuda, the sacred flag is exclusively prepared and provided by the Temple Trust.
Devotees do not need to purchase any flag from external local markets. Sponsors can simply obtain an official receipt at the temple administrative counter to offer the authentic, trust-crafted Dhwaja.
