The divine idol and celestial adornment (Shringar) of Thakur Shri Madan Mohan Ji enchant the minds of all devotees. In accordance with seasons, festivals, and specific lunar dates, the Lord is dressed in grand, specially crafted sacred attire (Vaaga/Poshak). Devotees can attain the immense privilege of offering a divine Poshak to Thakur Ji to mark their deep devotion, special vows, or auspicious occasions of life.

Driven by faith and individual capacity, devotees can take a resolution for this Poshak Seva. Under this service, the devotee offers attire that is pure, flawless, and artistically crafted according to the traditional protocols and dimensions of the temple. This sacred attire is offered to the Lord on designated special days during Rajbhog or Sandhya Aarti.

Important Rules for Devotees

Adherence to Sanctity

The fabric used for the Poshak must be absolutely pure, untouched, and made of pure silk, cotton, or Garbhasan (depending on the season). No prohibited materials or impure threads can be utilized. Therefore, it is mandatory to seek permission and guidance from the temple authority before purchasing or stitching the cloth.

Prior Booking Required

For major festivals (such as Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami, and Patotsav), the dates for offering Poshak are reserved months in advance. For service on festivals, kindly coordinate at least 1 to 2 months prior.

Official Receipt

The official receipt for the resolution of Poshak Seva or associated Chhappan Bhog will be issued immediately by the temple office through the physical counter or online channel.
